1.                 294 Grama Niladhari Divisions in Gampaha District

               Rs. 85 million is allocated by the Ministry of Nation Building

and   Insfrastructure   Development   to  develop  294  Grama

Niladhari   Divisions   in   Gampaha  District   under  “Gama

Neguma”  Programme. These   projects  are   already    being

Implemented   in  168   Grama   Niladhari  Divisions  in  12

divisional  secretarial  divisions  except  Negombo.

Designing a web site for the Gampaha District Secretariat is

Already  under  way. It  is scheduled  to be opened this web

site  by  Honorable  Minister of  Public Administration  and

Home  Affairs  Karu  Jayasuriya  on 1^st   of  August   2007.

This  web  site includes  all the  important details regarding

Gampaha Administrative District.
