Upper Kotmalee Water Project
This Project entitles 150 Mega Walt capacities and it is specified to bring 409 Gwh capacity of electricity to main Electricity System. This region people get more subsidies from this project and expected to the development of infrastructure facilities included new houses and new job opportunities.
Gama Neguma Jathica Saviya Programs
Under the Gama Neguma Jathica Saviya Programs there are tow guide projects, Happawara in the Hanguranketha division and Mallagama in the Walapane division. They were inaugurated in 2006.
Under the Jathica Saviya Programs 150 projects in 125 Grama Niladhari divisions are expected to be implemented in 2007.
